Project Representative: Telephone & Database Marketing for High
Technology, Biotechnology, Manufacturing & Educational Publishing
Transamerica Microsearch Inc. is currently seeking our newest Marketing Project
Representative to join our dynamic team, starting as soon as possible,
for a Six (6)-month Contract, following training, with options to renew.
This position is perfectly suited for university students, recent
graduates, or underemployed graduates seeking to jump-start their
careers into Sales, Marketing, and Communications.

an enthusiastic, growing, highly-specialized telephone-based
business-to-business marketing company. We have a relaxed, yet
professional work atmosphere that nurtures new talent and provides an

Our team of Marketing Project Representatives
performs outsourced telephone marketing services for our high
technology, biotechnology, manufacturing, and educational publishing
clients to promote their products and services. The price range of
our clients’ technologies varies from tens of thousands to millions of
dollars. Marketing Project Representatives are trained extensively in our
registered-trademarked process, Assembly Line Selling®.
Assembly Line Selling® provides a strong background for marketing
tactics and contact management methodology for a variety of positions.
Our Marketing Project Representative position
requires work on day-to-day marketing operations, coupled with messaging
and distribution of promotional materials from our office in North
Vancouver. Through this position you will have the chance to work with
our clients and help develop marketing initiatives, while developing
your communications skills along the way.

Who You Are
As the front-end voice of Transamerica Microsearch Inc.’s clients, you
must demonstrate the following qualifications:
• Strong written & oral communication and interpersonal skills

resource constraints

• Self-starter who operates with confidence under minimal supervision

Key Job Requirements
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years College or University Education
• Excellent command of English
• Good telephone etiquette
• Computer literate: proficiency with MS Windows, MS Office, e-mail, and
Internet
• Familiarity with Marketing or Business Management
• Familiarity with contact management software an asset, such as MS
Outlook or Maximizer
• Minimum typing speed: 60 words per minute
Work Schedule & Wages & Bonuses
Work Schedule
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 1:45 PM,
including a paid 15-minute break and an unpaid half hour for lunch.
Working hours may be moved to earlier times, depending on projects,
starting at 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM to accommodate the Marketing Project
Representative's personal schedules. The usual working schedule requires
approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.
Training & Training
Wage
Training starts as soon as possible. Training sessions may involve
flexible shifts including days, evenings, and/or weekends, usually 3 to
4 hours per session. Training wage is $10.00 per hour during the
Marketing Project
Representative's initial Assembly Line Selling® training and through to
the next closest semimonthly payday.
Regular
Wage & Regular Wage Increases
The position starts immediately following training. Following the period of
the Marketing Project Representative's training wage above, the Regular Wage increases
to $12.25 per hour, with $0.25 per hour increases every two (2)
semimonthly pay periods until the wage equals $13.50 per hour.
Following Contract Renewal for another Six (6) Months, the Regular Wage
increases to $13.75 per hour, with $0.25 per hour increases every
two (2) semimonthly pay periods until the wage equals $15.00 per hour
in the last two (2) semimonthly pay periods of the second Six (6)-month
Contract.
Bonuses & Finder's Fee
• Birthday
Bonus: The Marketing Project Representative receives a taxable $50.00 bonus on
the Marketing Project Representative's birthday while employed at Transamerica.
• Quarterly
Bonuses: Following six (6) consecutive Pay Periods at Regular Wages,
the Marketing Project Representative is eligible to receive taxable Quarterly
Bonuses to be awarded each year on March 31, June 30, September 30, and
December 31.
• Signing
Bonus: The Marketing Project Representative receives a taxable $200.00 bonus for
signing an extension to the Marketing Project Representative's Letter of
Employment for twelve (12) additional Pay Periods beyond the initial Six (6)-month
period.
• Finder’s Fee: The Marketing Project Representative receives a taxable $100.00 bonus each time
a person the Marketing Project Representative has referred to Transamerica
is
accepted for employment and signs a new Letters of Employment. Employment
extensions are not eligible for Finder’s fees.
